CCSF hit the road in September, visiting Coke Scholars in Boston, New Haven, Princeton, Philadelphia, and Chicago, connecting with over 225 Scholars!

Coke Scholars on campuses across the country connect over pizza and Coke.

Johns Hopkins Coke Scholars Raghav Tripathi, Omar Reyes, Sara Kaufman, Saumik Das, Daniel Mathew, and Kiara Smith enjoyed pizza together.
Auburn University Scholars Ayden Kemp (2018) and Sophia Weber (2024) grabbed Cokes at Whataburger.
Hiteshi Patel, Ayush Shah, Joel Setya, and Fatima Iqbal enjoyed Cokes together at Jimmy Johns near the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
Rice University Scholars Vincenzo Damato, Sanjana Kavula, Michael Gonzalez McNeil, Jerron-Michael Arline, Saanya Bhargava, Shivani Gollapudi, Julie Trinh, and Raymar Turangan connected over Cokes at Home Slice Pizza.
16 Coke Scholars met up for pizza and Cokes at Columbia University, including Ananya Bhatia (2023), Grant Baxter (2022), Kynnedy Smith (2021), Reesa Venterea (2024), Cara Wreen (2023), Richa Shukla (2024), Yunseo Kim (2023), Laalitya Acharya (2021), Alexander Fan (2022), Zainab Tahir (2016), Kaden Oqueli-White (2022), Aakash Suresh (2024), Gautam Ray (2024), Sofia Polar (2024), Gitika Gorthi (2022), and Maraki Tamrat (2023).
Yale University Coke Scholars Bernadette Nwokeji, Rena Liu, Irene Kim, Zoey Duan, and Ryan Chen met for a meal at Zeneli Pizzeria in New Haven.

Building Bridges Workshop

Juliana Tafur (2003), Bridging Differences Program Director of The Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, led the second of 4 workshops in a series, Compassionate Listening, where Scholars explored the science of finding shared identities without ignoring individuality.

Coke Scholar Meet Ups

Caroline Ciaramitaro (2018) and Rebecca Wang (2024) posted in Coke Scholars Connect that they were hosting a dinner for local Scholars in San Francisco at the True Ventures office downtown and 60 Coke Scholars showed up!
Some 2023 Scholars who couldn’t make the San Francisco meet up just said no to FOMO and got together for Vanilla Cokes!

attended the Hispanic Heritage Awards in DC at The Kennedy Center
as guests of The Coca-Cola Company.
2004 Scholars Quinton Lampkin, Geraldine Pierre, and Bryan Nails got together in DC recently as they do every couple months.
Justin J. Pearson (2013) was in Atlanta for a fundraiser, and CCSF’s Jane Hopkins and LaQuanda Prince saw him briefly while he was in town.
