March 2021 Accolades

National Geographic Kids is releasing Dr. Gabby Wild’s (2008) first book about being a wildlife veterinarian, Wild Vet Adventures: Saving Animals Around the World With Dr. Gabby Wild. In the book, she takes young readers on a journey around the world to discover amazing animals and how to care for them.
Jonathan Jones (2004) has been named this year’s recipient of the University of Georgia’s Young Alumni Award. Presented by the UGA Alumni Association, the award recognizes an individual who brings recognition and honor to UGA through outstanding leadership and service to the university, the community and his or her profession. As an engineer at Corteva Agriscience in Indianapolis, Jonathan focuses on solving complex challenges in agriculture.
Miguel Sanchez-Tortoledo (2019) won the Hacemos AT&T B2B Sales Challenge that included a grand prize of $5,000.
