Sophie Wix (2014) was selected for a research-based Fulbright Award to the UK. She will do cancer research at Cambridge Institute in the UK this fall and is pursuing a 1-year MPhil in Medical Science studying breast cancer at Cambridge. Sophie is the first Trojan to be named a UK Fulbright Scholar in the USC History! “I would not have applied for the Fulbright had it not been for my fellow Coke Scholars motivating me to apply. This is arguably the most exciting time in cancer research, and I feel privileged to have the Coke Family to guide me on my journey,” said Sophie. (Photo/Gus Ruelas)
