After our Semifinalists are chosen, we gather our Program Reading Committee (PRC) to read all of their applications and recommend 250 to advance as Regional Finalists. This year, 9 Coca-Cola Scholar alumni served on our committee – they are pictured above with our staff! Alumni PRC members included: Joelle Murchison (1991), Mike Doughty (1993), Geren Piltz (2000), Devery Doran (2003), Mike Woodward (2004), Jamaal Barnes (2005), Neagheen Homaifar (2006), Eva Amesse (2007), and Carly Valenzuela (2009).
Nilofer Rajpurkar visited fellow 2013 Scholar Madison Pfaff in Orlando over Martin Luther King, Jr., weekend. They had so much fun at Disney World and stopped to take this photo for us in the Disney Coca-Cola store!
Alice Park (1999), Jany Brown (1992) and Chad Little (1998) came together in Atlanta to start planning our 2018 Leadership Summit! As event co-chairs, they and the Alumni Advisory Board will be planning what’s sure to be an amazing event for our Scholars and alumni. Exact dates are coming soon, but for now, mark your calendar for the fall of 2018.
Gracie Schram (2016 Scholar and Nashville singer) visited the CCSF staff while she was in Atlanta. Her EP, “Dear Fall,” is out on iTunes – check it out!
Elena Mackawgy (2004) married husband Denis last June, and one of their special guests was Bradford Galiette (2004). Elena and Bradford have been friends ever since their Scholars Weekend.

CCSF hit the road last September, visiting Coke Scholars in Boston, New Haven, Princeton, Philadelphia, and Chicago, connecting with over 225 Scholars!
Gabriel Nagel (2023) was selected as the Chairperson of the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s National Environmental Youth Advisory Council, making him the youngest Chairperson of an official U.S. federal advisory council.
