JJ Jaxon’s (1994) new company, Mission MightyMe, won the Ideas Competition at Plywood Presents, a conference for start-ups doing good. Mission MightyMe is an innovative food company on a mission to help end the food allergy epidemic. Mission MightyMe was inspired by groundbreaking research that found including peanuts and other common food allergens in babies’ diets early could significantly reduce the chances of developing a food allergy. JJ and his wife Catherine partnered with the very doctor who lead the new research in order to revolutionize the baby food industry, which is entirely allergen-free. Together, they are creating one of the very first food lines to make it easy and enjoyable to feed nuts and other common food allergens to babies and young children, before food allergies develop.
